Why Join Daittons as a Daittoner?

Turn Your Local Skills Into a Service

Daittons Destination Support connects Visitors, travellers, business visitors, people relocating and remote clients with verified local people who can provide practical, personalised assistance.

If you know your area, have useful skills or enjoy helping people, Daittons gives you a platform to showcase your capabilities and offer services that match your experience.

Whether you are an e-hailing driver, private motorist, personal assistant, office professional, university student, pensioner or someone with valuable local knowledge, you may have something useful to offer.

Your Local Knowledge. Your Skills. Your Opportunity.

Use what you know, what you can do and the time you have available to provide practical support to people who need assistance locally or remotely.

1. Earn From What You Can Do

Your time, skills and knowledge can provide value to people who need assistance.

As a Daittoner, you can offer services that match your capabilities, discuss requirements with Visitors and agree on the price before starting work.

You choose which approved services to offer and indicate when you are available, subject to applicable platform requirements.

You remain responsible for delivering the services you agree to provide professionally and in accordance with applicable requirements.

Earnings depend on actual work. Your income will depend on the services you offer, your availability, demand, agreed prices and the work you successfully secure and complete. Daittons does not guarantee bookings, income or a particular level of earnings.

2. Get Discovered by Visitors

Visitors can browse available Daittoner profiles and contact people whose services appear suitable for their needs.

Your profile can showcase important information, including:

  • Services offered.
  • Location and service areas.
  • Skills and experience.
  • Languages spoken.
  • Availability.
  • Relevant qualifications and capabilities.
  • Verification status.
  • Reviews and ratings, where available.

A complete, accurate and professional profile helps Visitors understand what you offer and decide whether to contact you.

Visitors can find your profile directly, even when they have not submitted a general Assistance Request.

A professional profile helps you stand out. Keep your services, location, experience and availability accurate so Visitors can make informed decisions about contacting you.

3. Respond to Assistance Requests

Visitors can submit an Assistance Request describing what they need, where they need it and when assistance is required.

If a request matches your services, location and availability, you may respond and discuss the assignment directly with the Visitor.

There are two main ways to connect through Daittons:

Visitors Find You

Visitors browse Daittoner profiles and contact people whose services suit their requirements.

You Find Opportunities

You review relevant Assistance Requests and respond to opportunities that match your skills, availability and agreed rates.

You can consider whether a request suits your capabilities before accepting an assignment.

Submitting a response or receiving an enquiry does not guarantee that you will be selected or that a service agreement will result.

4. Offer Services That Match Your Skills

Daittons supports a range of local and remote assistance services. You do not need to offer every category. Choose services that reflect your actual skills, experience, resources and ability to deliver them responsibly.

Arrival and Daily Transport

Offer suitable transport services such as airport and station pickups, shopping trips, appointments, business journeys and other agreed local transport, subject to applicable licensing, insurance and vehicle requirements.

Local Guidance

Help Visitors understand their destination, navigate local areas, identify useful places and services, and access practical local guidance.

Personal Assistance

Help with errands, shopping, appointments, queueing, collections, deliveries, administrative tasks and other practical everyday needs.

Business Visitor Support

Assist business visitors with meetings, conferences, exhibitions, appointments, local enquiries, business errands, supplier visits and other agreed on-the-ground requirements.

Language & Interpretation Support

Use your language skills to help people communicate through everyday language assistance, interpretation and other appropriate language-related services within your capabilities.

Relocation Support

Help people preparing to move or settle into a new area with essentials shopping, local arrangements, home setup and other agreed relocation tasks.

Accommodation Search & Support

Assist with accommodation searches, comparing options, local enquiries, viewing arrangements, booking coordination and guest-related support where available.

Remote Business Support

Help clients who cannot be physically present with local business enquiries, market research, supplier follow-ups, gathering business information and agreed representation at meetings, exhibitions or conferences.

Remote Sourcing and Shopping

Help clients find products, suppliers, service providers and other resources locally. This may include checking availability, obtaining prices, comparing options and coordinating agreed purchases.

Remote Verifications

Carry out agreed local checks relating to people, properties, addresses, businesses, suppliers, products or locations. Depending on the assignment, findings may be documented through written reports, photographs or videos where appropriate and lawful.

Offer only services you can deliver responsibly. Some services require additional qualifications, licences, insurance, documentation or verification before they can be offered. You must meet the requirements applicable to your chosen services.

5. Turn Local Knowledge Into Practical Help

Knowing your area can be a valuable advantage.

You may understand:

  • Local businesses and service providers.
  • Transport routes and options.
  • Shopping areas and essential services.
  • Accommodation options.
  • Important locations and facilities.
  • Local procedures and practical arrangements.
  • Reliable suppliers and useful contacts.
  • Community resources and local customs.

Visitors and remote clients may not have the time, contacts or local knowledge needed to complete these tasks themselves.

As a Daittoner, you can use your knowledge to help them make arrangements, obtain information and get things done locally.

6. Build Your Professional Profile

Your Daittoner profile is your opportunity to introduce yourself and explain how you can help.

You can develop your professional presence by maintaining accurate information about your services, experience, skills, languages, service areas and availability.

Over time, where applicable, you may strengthen your profile through:

  • Relevant experience and capabilities.
  • A clear description of your services.
  • Additional verified qualifications.
  • Reliable communication and professional conduct.
  • Genuine Visitor reviews and ratings.
  • Accurate and regularly updated availability.

Your profile can become your professional identity within the Daittons network.

A strong profile does not guarantee work, but it helps Visitors make informed decisions about the people they contact.

7. Pay a Once-Off Setup and Verification Fee

Daittons requires a once-off setup and verification fee for eligible applicants. The applicable fee depends on the membership plan and country.

Standard Daittoner

R300 / USD 30

Once-off setup and verification fee. There is currently no monthly membership fee for Standard Daittoners.

Elite Daittoner

R500 / USD 50

Once-off setup and verification fee for applicants approved for the Elite membership plan. Separate eligibility requirements apply.

The fee supports the applicable profile setup and verification process. You must complete the required checks and receive approval before proceeding to the payment stage.

When do you pay? Payment is due only after successful verification and approval, in accordance with the instructions provided by Daittons. Profile activation is a separate step and requires the applicable completion, verification, approval and payment-confirmation requirements to be satisfied.

Payment does not guarantee bookings, income or future business opportunities. The applicable fee and refund conditions are subject to the membership terms and applicable law.

Certain appointed Daittons representatives may qualify for an exemption from the standard verification fee, subject to Daittons’ approval and the applicable requirements. An exemption is not automatic.

8. Keep 80% of Your Agreed Service Earnings

Daittons currently uses the following standard service commission structure:

80%

Daittoner

Service provider’s share

20%

Daittons

Platform commission

For example, on a completed service with an agreed service fee of R1,000, before any separately agreed expenses, applicable taxes or other lawful adjustments:

  • R800 — Daittoner’s share.
  • R200 — Daittons’ commission.

During the initial operating phase, Visitors generally pay Daittoners directly. Daittoners must keep accurate transaction records, submit required monthly returns and pay applicable commissions according to Daittons’ procedures.

Separately agreed expenses, such as fuel, tolls, parking, purchases, delivery and other third-party costs, should be identified and agreed with the Visitor separately from the service fee.

The commission arrangement may be updated through an applicable written agreement or formal notice.

Your actual earnings depend on the work you secure and complete, the agreed prices and any applicable costs, taxes or other obligations. Daittons does not guarantee a particular level of income.

9. Receive Local Coordination and Support

Daittons is developing a local support structure to help Daittoners operate within the network.

City Daittoner

Where appointed, your City Daittoner may provide routine local coordination and guidance, including:

  • Assistance with onboarding and profile updates.
  • Guidance on local procedures and standards.
  • Coordination of local network activities.
  • Communication and operational support.
  • Assistance with reporting and routine administrative requirements.
  • Guidance on raising concerns or escalating unresolved issues.
Country Daittoner

The Country Daittoner coordinates country-level support and may assist with matters that require further attention.

Daittons Headquarters

Daittons Headquarters retains responsibility for central policies, official verification and approval, platform access, standards and appropriate disciplinary decisions.

Local representatives provide support within their assigned roles. They do not guarantee bookings, earnings or the outcome of every complaint.

10. Become Part of a Growing Network

Daittons aims to build a network of verified local people who can provide practical assistance across destinations.

As the platform develops, we intend to improve the tools, processes and technology that help Visitors find support and Daittoners present their services.

The long-term goal is to make local assistance easier to discover, arrange and deliver, whether a Visitor is physically present or needs someone on the ground to help remotely.

By joining, you have the opportunity to contribute your skills and local knowledge to a growing destination-support network.
