Examples include:

Minimum booking: 2 hours.
2. Shopping and Grocery Assistance
Get help with shopping when you are unfamiliar with the area, have a busy schedule or simply prefer local assistance.
Your Daittoner can help with:

Starting rate: R180 / US$10 per hour.
Minimum booking: 2 hours. Purchases and other expenses are charged separately.
3. Appointment Booking and Assistance
Need to arrange an appointment during your stay? A Daittoner can help you contact local service providers and coordinate the arrangements.
Assistance may include:
- Booking appointments with service providers

Starting rate: R150 / US$10 per appointment booking.
The appointment-booking rate covers arranging the appointment, not necessarily attending it with you. In-person attendance, transport and additional assistance may incur separate charges. Confirm the full cost before proceeding.
4. Queueing and Waiting Assistance
Save time by arranging for a Daittoner to wait in line or assist with suitable tasks that require a physical presence.
Examples include:
- Waiting at participating service points
- Queueing where proxy attendance is permitted
- Waiting for agreed collections or services
- Providing updates while waiting
Starting rate: R150 / US$10 per hour.
The relevant organisation must permit another person to queue or act on your behalf. Identity checks, personal attendance and legal requirements must be respected.
5. Collection and Delivery Coordination
Need an item collected or delivered locally while you are visiting?
A Daittoner can assist with:

Starting rate: R150 / US$10 per task.
Transport, delivery charges, item costs and other third-party expenses are additional unless included in an agreed quotation.

Assistance may include:

Starting rate: R200 / US$10 per hour.
This service covers practical, non-specialist assistance. Legal, financial, medical and other regulated professional advice is excluded unless provided by an appropriately qualified and authorised professional. A Daittoner must not sign documents, make decisions or act as your legal representative without appropriate authority.
9. Student Assistance
Students visiting or temporarily staying in a new destination may need help settling in and managing everyday practical tasks.
A Daittoner may assist with:

The exact duration, tasks included, location and any additional expenses should be agreed with your Daittoner before the booking is confirmed.
How Personal Assistance Works
1. Find a Daittoner
Search for available Daittoners in your destination. Review their profiles, services, languages, location and other relevant information.
2. Explain What You Need
Choose a listed service or submit a Personal Assistance Request. Include your location, preferred date and time, the task you need help with and any important requirements.
3. Agree on the Details
Discuss availability, the scope of assistance, the expected duration, the price and any additional expenses directly with the Daittoner before confirming.
4. Arrange Your Assistance
Once the details and payment arrangements are agreed, meet your Daittoner at the agreed location or follow the agreed collection or assistance arrangements.
5. Complete Your Tasks with Local Support
Your Daittoner helps with the agreed tasks, making it easier to manage everyday activities while you are away from home.
- Confirm the service, date, time and meeting or collection point.
- Agree on the total price, minimum booking and payment deadline.
- Confirm whether shopping, transport, delivery and other expenses are included.
- Check whether the relevant organisation permits another person to perform the task.
- Keep payment confirmations, receipts and important messages.

Personal Assistance Pricing
The prices shown are starting rates, not guaranteed final quotations. The final price may depend on the task, location, duration, timing, travel requirements and any additional expenses.
- Rand prices are shown in South African rand (ZAR).
- US dollar prices are indicative guides and are not live exchange-rate conversions.
- Purchases, transport, admission fees, delivery costs and third-party charges are separate unless expressly included in the agreed price.
- Agree on the full price and payment arrangements with your Daittoner before the service begins.
During Daittons’ initial operating phase, Visitors generally pay the service-providing Daittoner directly according to the agreed arrangement. Confirm the payment method, deadline and cancellation terms before proceeding.
