Daittoner Verification Process
Building a Trusted Daittoner Network
Trust is at the heart of Daittons.
Every Daittoner is required to complete the applicable verification process before receiving verified status. The process helps Daittons confirm important information about the people who provide support to Visitors.
Verification requirements may vary depending on the services a Daittoner offers, but the following four checks are mandatory for every Daittoner.
1. Identity Verification
Every Daittoner must verify their identity.
This normally requires:
- A valid identity document or passport
- A clear copy or photograph of the document
- A selfie holding the identity document, where required
- Additional information where reasonably necessary to confirm identity
The purpose is to confirm that the person registering as a Daittoner is the person represented by the submitted identity information.
2. Address Verification
Every Daittoner must provide information that allows their residential or permanent address to be verified.
An acceptable proof of address may include an appropriate document such as:
- Bank statement
- Utility bill
- Official government correspondence
- Other acceptable proof of address
The document should contain sufficient information to establish the Daittoner’s address and meet Daittons’ verification requirements.
3. Next-of-Kin Verification
Every Daittoner must provide next-of-kin information.
This may include:
- Full name
- Relationship to the Daittoner
- Contact number
- Other relevant information required for verification
Daittons may contact the nominated next of kin where necessary to confirm the information provided.
Next-of-kin information is treated as private information and is not intended to be displayed publicly on the Daittoner profile.
4. Criminal Record Verification
Criminal record verification is a mandatory requirement for Daittoners.
Daittoners are given up to three months from the start of the verification process to provide the required criminal record documentation.
This additional period recognises that obtaining official criminal-record documentation may take time depending on the country and relevant authorities.
Until the required criminal record verification has been successfully completed, the Daittoner’s verification status may remain incomplete or subject to the applicable Daittons restrictions.
Daittoners should submit the required documentation as soon as it becomes available rather than waiting until the end of the three-month period.
Additional Verification
Depending on the services a Daittoner provides, Daittons may require additional verification.
For example:
Transport Daittoners
Additional requirements may include:
- Driver’s licence
- Licence category and expiry
- Vehicle registration
- Proof of ownership or authorised use
- Vehicle insurance
- Roadworthiness documentation where applicable
- Transport permits or operating licences where applicable
Professional Services
Where a Daittoner provides services requiring specific qualifications or professional credentials, Daittons may request:
- Qualifications
- Certificates
- Professional registrations
- Licences
- Relevant experience
- Other supporting documentation
Verification Levels
Verified Daittoner
A Daittoner may receive Verified Daittoner status once the applicable verification requirements have been successfully completed.
Elite Daittoner
Daittoners seeking Elite status must meet the applicable Elite requirements in addition to completing the required verification process.
Elite Daittoners are intended to provide a higher standard of service for VIP and premium Visitors and are expected to maintain high standards of professionalism, presentation, grooming, communication, relevant skills and service conduct.
Elite status is subject to meeting Daittons’ requirements and is not obtained simply by paying the Elite verification fee.
Verification Review
Once documents and information are submitted, Daittons reviews the information provided.
A verification status may be:
- Verification Required
- Pending
- Under Review
- Verified
- Elite
- Additional Information Required
- Suspended, where appropriate
Daittons may request additional information or documentation where necessary.
Keep Your Information Current
Daittoners are responsible for ensuring that their information remains accurate and up to date.
If important information changes, Daittons may require the Daittoner to update their profile or complete additional verification.
Protecting Verification Information
Verification documents may contain sensitive personal information. Daittons should handle such information responsibly and use it for legitimate verification, safety, compliance and operational purposes.
Verification information should not be publicly displayed unless there is a legitimate reason and the information is appropriate for public display.
Verification Is Not a Guarantee
Daittoner verification is designed to help establish identity and relevant information and to support a trusted marketplace.
Verification does not guarantee a Daittoner’s character, future conduct, availability, service quality or the outcome of a service.
Visitors should consider the Daittoner’s profile, services, experience, verification status, reviews where available and agreed terms when choosing a Daittoner.
