VISITOR TERMS OF USE

1. Introduction

Welcome to Daittons Destination Support.

These Visitor Terms of Use govern the use of the Daittons platform by visitors, clients, request posters, users seeking destination support and anyone using Daittons to browse hosts, post service requests or use Daittons Matching.

Daittons Destination Support is operated by Daittons (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa.

By using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. What Daittons does

Daittons operates a destination support platform designed to connect visitors, students, professionals, families and relocating individuals with local support in the destinations where help is needed.

Through Daittons, visitors may be able to:

• browse Verified Destination Hosts by destination
• contact hosts directly
• post service requests on the platform
• use Daittons Matching where available
• access destination-related support opportunities through the platform

3. Hosts are independent Daittons Partners

Verified Destination Hosts listed on Daittons are generally independent Daittons Partners and not employees of Daittons merely because they are listed on the platform.

This means that, unless Daittons expressly states otherwise for a particular arrangement, a host providing destination support does so as an independent service provider responsible for their own service delivery, conduct, pricing discussions and arrangements with the visitor.

4. Free and paid parts of the platform

Free services

Visitors may browse hosts and post service requests on the platform free of charge.

Paid services

Daittons may charge fees for certain services, including Daittons Matching and any other paid support options clearly identified by Daittons from time to time.

Any Daittons fee applicable to a paid service will be communicated by Daittons before that service proceeds where reasonably possible.

5. Daittons Matching

Daittons Matching is a paid service in which Daittons takes a more active role in helping a visitor identify and shortlist a suitable host for a particular need.

Daittons Matching may include reviewing a request, identifying possible hosts, assisting with host fit assessment and helping connect the visitor to a suitable host.

Unless Daittons expressly states otherwise, the Daittons Matching fee is separate from the host’s own service fee.

6. Host pricing and Daittons fee guidance

Hosts generally charge visitors directly for the destination support services they provide.

Daittons may maintain a host fee schedule and pricing guideline for services on the platform, including starting rates that may differ for Standard Hosts and Elite Hosts. Hosts are expected to use this fee guidance responsibly, but final pricing for host services is generally negotiated directly between the host and the visitor based on the actual support required.

Visitors should confirm the host’s final pricing, the scope of support and any possible extra charges before proceeding.

7. Service requests

Visitors may post service requests on the platform for destination support needs.

By posting a service request, the visitor confirms that the information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge and that they are entitled to request the support described.

Daittons does not guarantee that a service request will receive responses, that a suitable host will be available or that every response received will meet the visitor’s expectations.

8. Visitor responsibilities

Visitors using Daittons are expected to use the platform responsibly and honestly.

Visitors should:

• provide accurate information when browsing, requesting support or communicating with hosts
• communicate clearly about destination, dates, support needs and expectations
• confirm pricing, timing and practical arrangements before a service begins
• treat hosts respectfully and lawfully
• avoid misuse of the platform
• report serious issues or misconduct promptly where relevant

Visitors must not use Daittons for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, deceptive or harmful purposes.

9. Verification and trust position

Daittons may verify hosts through a screening and onboarding process that can include identity verification, criminal record-related checks where applicable, role suitability review and other trust-related measures.

However, verification does not amount to a guarantee by Daittons of every host action, every service outcome or every visitor experience. Visitors remain responsible for exercising reasonable judgment, confirming arrangements properly and assessing whether a particular host is suitable for their needs.

10. Daittons is not the direct provider of most host services

Unless Daittons expressly states otherwise for a particular arrangement, Daittons does not itself provide the host’s destination support service and is not automatically a party to the direct service arrangement between the visitor and the host.

This means Daittons is generally not responsible for the host’s direct service delivery, performance, lateness, pricing dispute, cancellation or conduct merely because the host was listed on the platform.

However, Daittons may still take action from a platform trust, complaint-handling, verification or oversight perspective where appropriate.

11. Payments and disputes

Payment for host services is generally made directly to the host unless Daittons expressly states otherwise.

If a dispute arises between a visitor and a host regarding service quality, pricing, no-shows, cancellations, delays or other service issues, the visitor and host may need to address the issue directly in the first instance.

Daittons may review complaints, request information and take platform action where conduct, trust, safety or platform integrity concerns arise, but Daittons does not guarantee that it will resolve every dispute or secure a particular outcome.

12. Platform availability and no guarantee of host availability

Daittons does not guarantee that hosts will be available in every city, for every date or for every type of support requested.

Daittons also does not guarantee that browsing the platform, posting a request or using Daittons Matching will always result in a successful host booking or completed service.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Daittons shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising from the use of the platform, the conduct of independent hosts, failed arrangements, missed opportunities, delays, cancellations, service dissatisfaction or disputes between visitors and hosts.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Suspension or restriction of use

Daittons may suspend, restrict or terminate a visitor’s use of the platform where necessary to protect the platform, hosts, visitors, trust standards, legal compliance or the integrity of Daittons’ services.

This may happen where a visitor engages in abuse, fraud, unlawful conduct, harassment, repeated misuse of the platform or any other conduct Daittons considers harmful to the platform environment.

15. Changes to the platform and terms

Daittons may update, refine or change its services, host categories, verification approach, fee structures, matching processes, platform rules and these Terms of Use from time to time.

Updated terms may be published on the platform and may take effect from the date stated by Daittons.

16. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of South Africa, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
