At Daittons, we want Visitors and Daittoners to feel confident when arranging and paying for local support.
Our payment approach is designed to encourage clear agreements, verified identities, transparent pricing and secure payment practices between Visitors and Daittoners.
Daittons does not ask Visitors to make payments through unofficial channels or to share sensitive banking information with a Daittoner.
Before a service is confirmed, the Visitor and Daittoner should agree on:
The agreed details should be clear before payment is made.
During the initial Daittons operating model, Visitors pay their Daittoner directly using an agreed payment method.
Depending on the country and service, this may include an appropriate electronic payment method or another agreed method that is lawful and suitable for the transaction.
Visitors should always confirm the payment details directly with the Daittoner and keep proof of payment.
Daittons may introduce integrated platform payments in the future as the platform develops.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment should be made in advance or immediately before the service is delivered.
Daittoners should not request payment for services that were not agreed with the Visitor.
Where additional costs become necessary, the Daittoner should explain the cost and obtain the Visitor’s agreement before incurring it whenever reasonably possible.
Daittoners operating in each country are managed within the Daittons destination network by the Country Daittoner, who acts as the Daittons custodian for that destination.
The Country Daittoner helps maintain the local Daittons network and supports the onboarding, management and coordination of Daittoners in the country.
The Country Daittoner may assist with:
The Country Daittoner does not replace the Visitor or Daittoner in their agreed service arrangement and does not automatically become a party to every transaction.
Under the initial Daittons operating model, the Daittoner receives payment directly from the Visitor.
Daittoners are responsible for paying the applicable Daittons commission in accordance with their Daittoner agreement.
The current Daittons commission is 12% of the applicable service amount, unless otherwise agreed under a specific Daittons arrangement.
For your security:
Daittons will never ask you to provide your banking password or security credentials.
Visitors and Daittoners should keep records of:
These records can help resolve questions or disputes if they arise.
If you believe a payment was made incorrectly, you received a suspicious payment request, or there is a disagreement concerning payment or service delivery, contact Daittons as soon as possible.
Your local Country Daittoner, as the Daittons custodian in the destination, may assist with communication and local dispute resolution.
Daittons may review the available information and assist the parties in reaching a resolution. However, Daittons and its Country Daittoners are not courts, regulators, banks, payment providers or legal representatives, and assistance with a dispute does not guarantee a particular outcome.
As Daittons grows, we intend to introduce more integrated payment functionality that may allow Visitors to pay through the Daittons platform.
Any future payment system will be introduced subject to the applicable payment, consumer protection, privacy and other legal requirements in the relevant markets.
Safe payments are part of building a trusted destination-support network.
By combining Daittoner verification, clear service agreements, responsible payment practices, local Country Daittoner management and Daittons oversight, we aim to create a safer environment for Visitors and Daittoners.
