Daittons Destination Support gives visitors, students, professionals, families and relocating individuals different ways to find trusted local support in the destination where help is needed.
Some parts of the platform are free to use, while certain support options may carry a fee.

1. Browsing hosts is free
Visitors can browse Verified Destination Hosts by destination, explore host profiles and view the types of services hosts offer at no charge.
2. Posting a service request is free
Visitors can post a service request on the platform at no charge. Suitable hosts may then respond or apply if they are a good fit for the request.
What is paid on Daittons?
Daittons Matching
Daittons Matching is a paid service where Daittons takes a more active role in helping a visitor find the right host for a particular need.
This may include reviewing the request, identifying suitable hosts, helping shortlist options and assisting with the matching process.
Matching fees may vary depending on the destination, the complexity of the request, the type of support needed and the level of assistance required from Daittons.
Where possible, Daittons will communicate the applicable matching fee before proceeding.
How host service pricing works
Verified Destination Hosts on Daittons are independent Daittons Partners, not employees of Daittons. In most cases, hosts charge visitors directly for the support services they provide.
This means the final service price is usually agreed between the host and the visitor based on the nature of the request, the support required and the practical details of the arrangement.
Daittons fee guidance for host services
Although hosts negotiate and charge their own service fees, Daittons provides a host fee schedule and pricing guideline to help create more structure and consistency across the platform.
This fee guidance may differ depending on:
- the type of service
- whether the host is a Standard Host or an Elite Host
- the destination or city
- the complexity or expected level of support
The Daittons fee schedule is intended to provide starting rates and fee guidance, rather than fixed prices for every situation.
How the pricing guideline works
Daittons may publish or communicate starting rates for certain services offered through the platform. Hosts may then negotiate final pricing with visitors based on the details of the request.
Examples of factors that may affect the final host fee include:
- travel distance
- waiting time
- after-hours or late-night support
- urgent or same-day requests
- number of stops involved
- additional errands or add-on support
- full-day or multi-day support
- premium or executive support requirements
- destination-specific cost considerations
This means a host’s final price may be higher than the starting rate depending on the actual scope of the support required.
Standard Host and Elite Host pricing
Daittons may maintain different starting rates or fee guidance for Standard Hosts and Elite Hosts.
Elite Hosts may be positioned at a higher pricing level where applicable because they are presented as higher-tier hosts on the platform and may offer stronger premium positioning, higher trust presentation or enhanced visitor confidence.
The presence of an Elite badge on a host profile does not itself fix a final price, but it may form part of the host’s positioning within the Daittons fee guidance structure.
What visitors should do before confirming a booking
Before proceeding with a host, visitors should confirm:
- the exact service required
- the date, time and destination
- the expected duration of support
- whether the price is once-off, hourly, daily or package-based
- whether any extras may apply
- the payment method and timing
- any cancellation, waiting time or no-show conditions that have been agreed
Clear confirmation upfront helps reduce misunderstandings and disputes later.
Daittons Matching fees vs host service fees
It is important to distinguish between:
1. Daittons Matching fee
This is a fee paid to Daittons for the matching service where Daittons helps identify and shortlist suitable hosts.
2. Host service fee
This is the fee charged by the host for the actual destination support service they provide.
In many cases, these are separate charges.
Important pricing note
Unless Daittons expressly states otherwise for a specific arrangement, Daittons does not guarantee that every host will charge the same amount for similar support. Host fees may vary depending on the host level, destination, timing, complexity and final arrangement agreed with the visitor.
However, Daittons uses pricing guidance and a fee schedule to encourage a more structured and consistent pricing environment across the platform.
Final note
Daittons aims to make destination support more transparent, more structured and easier to arrange. Free browsing and free service requests help visitors access the platform easily, while fee guidance and Daittons Matching provide additional structure where needed.
