Host Verification Policy

HOST VERIFICATION POLICY

1. Introduction

Daittons Destination Support is committed to building a trusted platform environment for both visitors and hosts. This Host Verification Policy explains how Daittons approaches host verification and onboarding for individuals who want to offer destination support services through the platform.

Hosts on Daittons are independent Daittons Partners, not employees of Daittons. Verification helps Daittons assess identity, suitability and service alignment before approving a host to offer services on the platform.

2. Purpose of verification

The purpose of Daittons’ host verification process is to help create a more reliable and structured platform environment by reviewing whether a host is suitable to offer destination support services through Daittons.

Verification may help Daittons assess:

  • who the host is
  • what services the host wants to offer
  • whether the host appears suitable for the service categories selected
  • whether the host meets Daittons’ onboarding requirements for the role

3. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to individuals applying to join Daittons as hosts in any approved destination support category, including but not limited to transport, personal assistance, accommodation support, destination companion services, family support, language support, relocation support, business visitor support and local verification services.

4. What Daittons may verify

Depending on the role, destination and service category, Daittons may carry out one or more of the following verification or onboarding checks:

  • identity verification
  • contact and profile checks
  • criminal record-related checks where applicable
  • role suitability review
  • review of service information, experience or supporting details provided by the applicant
  • other onboarding checks relevant to the role or category applied for

Not every host category requires the same level or type of review. Daittons may apply different onboarding standards depending on the nature of the service offered.

5. Role-based verification approach

Daittons may apply different verification standards depending on the host’s category or intended services. Certain categories may require stricter review because of the nature of the support involved.

For example, Daittons may apply enhanced review or additional suitability checks for categories such as:

  • family support and childcare assistance
  • homestay hosting / accommodation sharing
  • destination companion services
  • local verification services
  • other categories that involve higher trust, accommodation access, child-related support or sensitive visitor interaction

6. Host information and supporting documents

As part of the onboarding process, Daittons may request information or documents from a host applicant to support verification or role review. This may include identification details, contact details, profile information, service information or other supporting information relevant to the host’s application.

Submission of information or documents does not guarantee approval.

7. Approval and listing

A host may only be listed as a Verified Destination Host after Daittons has reviewed the application and approved the applicant for the relevant destination and service categories.

Daittons may approve a host for some services and not others, or may limit the destinations, service categories or host level for which the host is approved.

8. Standard Hosts and Elite Hosts

Daittons may feature hosts at different levels on the platform.

Standard Host

A verified host approved to offer destination support services through Daittons.

Elite Host

A higher-tier verified host with stronger positioning on the platform and an Elite badge displayed on their profile.

Elite Host approval may be subject to additional Daittons review, stronger profile standards or other suitability considerations determined by Daittons.

9. Ongoing accuracy and host responsibility

Hosts are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide to Daittons is accurate, complete and up to date. A host must not submit false, misleading or incomplete information during the application or onboarding process.

Hosts must also only offer services they are genuinely able, suitable and approved to provide through the platform.

10. No guarantee and limits of verification

Verification is intended to support trust on the platform, but it is not a guarantee of every outcome, every service experience or every future action by a host.

Approval as a Verified Destination Host means the host has completed Daittons’ onboarding and approval process for the role or categories approved at the time of review. It does not create an employment relationship between the host and Daittons, and it does not guarantee bookings, income or continued approval.

11. Refusal, suspension or removal

Daittons reserves the right to refuse, suspend, limit or remove a host’s verification, listing or approval status where Daittons believes this is necessary for platform integrity, safety, compliance, quality control or risk management.

This may include situations where:

  • a host provides inaccurate or misleading information
  • a host no longer meets Daittons’ verification or suitability standards
  • concerns arise about conduct, safety, professionalism or service suitability
  • Daittons decides to restrict or discontinue a service category or host role

12. Changes to this policy

Daittons may update this Host Verification Policy from time to time to reflect changes to its platform, verification approach, host categories, onboarding standards or operational requirements.
