Daittons Matching is a paid support option

Daittons Matching is for visitors who want Daittons to take a more active role in helping them find the right host for a specific destination need.

Instead of browsing hosts yourself or waiting for responses to a service request, Daittons reviews your request, identifies suitable host options and helps guide the matching process.

What the matching fee covers

The Daittons Matching fee is charged for Daittons’ time and involvement in the matching process. Depending on the request, this may include:

• reviewing the destination support need
• assessing the type of host required
• identifying possible host options
• shortlisting suitable hosts
• guiding the introduction or matching process
• assisting with a more hands-on placement process where needed

The matching fee is separate from the host’s own service fee.

Daittons Matching Fee Guide

1. Standard Matching Request

For straightforward support needs such as a simple arrival transfer, local guidance request, shopping assistance request or similar basic destination support request.

2. Assisted Matching Request

For requests that need more review, more host screening or a more involved support arrangement.

Examples may include:

• student support arrangements
• family support planning
• daily transport support over multiple days
• accommodation support and settling-in assistance
• destination companion support for a first-time visitor

Matching fee from R450

3. Priority or Complex Matching Request

For urgent, premium or more complex destination support needs where Daittons may need to take a more active role in identifying and coordinating suitable host options.

Examples may include:

• relocation support
• multi-part family arrangements
• business visitor support
• urgent same-day support requests
• higher-touch premium support needs
• local verification requests requiring careful matching

Matching fee from R750

Important pricing note

The Daittons Matching fee is a fee paid to Daittons for the matching service itself. It does not include the host’s service fee unless Daittons expressly states otherwise for a specific arrangement.

Once a suitable host is identified, the host’s own service fee is usually discussed and agreed directly between the host and the visitor.

When the final matching fee may vary

The final matching fee may vary depending on:

• urgency
• destination complexity
• number of hosts to be reviewed
• whether the request involves multiple services
• whether the request needs more hands-on coordination
• whether the request involves family, student, relocation or corporate support
• whether the request requires priority handling

Important note for visitors

Visitors who do not want to pay a matching fee can still use Daittons for free by:

• browsing hosts directly, or
• posting a service request and allowing suitable hosts to respond

Daittons Matching is simply the paid option for visitors who want Daittons to help with host selection.
